Welcome to my little
space on the World Wide Web. I'm glad that you could
visit with me and I hope that you have gained knowledge
from my site. If you have any questions or comments,
please feel free to contact
me.
I have been teaching
for 30 years, and I have been the librarian at Bonne
Ecole for the last 18 years. I love working at Bonne
Ecole! I have the best job as I get to go to school
each day and do what I sincerely love. It is the
BEST school anywhere.
Instilling the love
and enjoyment of reading in the hearts of youngsters
is such a rewarding career. My goal is to guide
students to access, evaluate, and use information
from multiple sources in order to learn, to think,
and to create and apply new knowledge. I strive
every day to be the best that I can be for the students
of our school. My motto is "IS IT BEST FOR
KIDS?" and I work diligently every day to make
it that.
When I was born my family
lived in Slidell, so I have deep roots here. I grew
up in New Orleans and graduated from St. Mary's
Dominican High School. After graduating from LSU,
my husband and I moved to Slidell, and we have been
on the same street for all of our married life.
I have two grown sons and one precious granddaughter.
