| INTRODUCTION
February is dedicated as Black History
Month, and has been celebrated in the United States since 1976.
African Americans have played an important part in the history of
our country. In order to celebrate their achievements, students
will research famous African Americans using books, encyclopedias,
and web sites. They will generate a one page report highlighting
the important contributions of each African American. These reports
will be compiled into booklets for each classroom in the school
to use daily during the month of February. |
